Urban legends of the hostel

We wanted to inspire a little bit different in the hostel, so we invited young Celje artists to participate, who based on urban myths and legends artistically and conceptually furnished individual rooms, and details from these rooms were included in all rooms in various ways to present history with stories. offer and local specials of our city. Celje Ninja
One calm morning, a shuriken arrives, a black shadow is noticed for a moment, and the city gets a new urban legend. This is the true story of a masked, ninja-clad, heavily armed man in black who wanted to right an injustice.

How to hunt and catch yourself? This is an issue that has resonated on city streets for decades. It is an urban story about a police officer looking for the perpetrator of a crime committed by the police officer himself.

I'm a dog eater
Bubbles are bubbling from below the surface, the water is stirring and there is no spirit or hearing about the recently floating cuckoo ... Various mystical stories have always been circulating about Lake Šmartin. It is said to be inhabited by giant catfish, which are said to have eaten smaller children, cats, dogs and swans.

… One bright socialist day, a high-ranking political official of the Central Committee paid a business visit to the famous Celje factory. He demanded that, for the "purposes" of the socialist future, the existing director be replaced by Comrade Ocvirk.

Unhappy, past, same-sex, forbidden, lost, damned. All these and other forms of love have always been woven into every pore of the city. Only a small trace remains forever, as in the story of Alfred Nobel and his great Celje money-eater - Sofia Hess.

Celje subculture
Celje probably has the highest percentage of specials per square meter of urban area. All these "fighters against the gray everyday life" successfully joined it due to the diverse subcultural scene. The ambience of a remote street offers socializing, free creation, and at the same time a break from "mainstream" normalcy.

Wide paved roads, stories of hidden treasures, huge castles, dragons, lost love, insidious murders and invincible heroes.
